Notes
  • Oracle Database is supplied as part of School2000 and Consortium2000 software. Oracle provides 256 bit encryption to protect the database
  • We recommend hardware (Items 14 to 16) is purchased by the school to our specification from your preferred suppliers. If this is done, after-sales maintenance will be faster, direct and with minimum delays. Schools are often able to purchase hardware at lower prices
  • Maintenance of hardware supplied by us is free during the 1st year and charged at 10% a year thereafter, for normal failures, payable yearly in advance. Hardware maintenance is based on Return-to-Base
  • Maintenance of software supplied by us is free during the 1st year and charged annually at 10% a year thereafter, for normal failures, payable in advance. Software maintenance is often done over the Internet, if we are provided Internet access to our servers. If we are not allowed Internet access, and in situations where a site visit is necessary, our charges are £ 300 per half day and £ 500 for full day
  • Software is supplied for perpetual use in a particular school at a specific computer in a specific location. If it must be transferred to another computer or location, it requires a full repeat installation
  • VAT is payable as applicable
  • Payment must be made by cheque to School2000 after installation. Hardware purchases require 100% payment in advance
